There has been an uproar around the internet lately about the new update from Gmail that will allow random people on Google+ to send you emails and messages. All without knowing you. Enter the spammers.
These messages will show up in your email inbox just like a regular email. But, Google says your email address won’t be visible to the person – unless you reply.
How do I turn off messages from Google + people?
Google says there is an easy way for users to opt out of this new “feature”. Before the feature goes live on your Gmail account you will receive an email from Google with a direct link on how to opt out. At present there is not a link to do this.
