Some of us may watch movies on Youtube. Or if you are watching tutorial or funny video this may help you. Often when you click forward on a buffered area or you bump the mouse button and it skips then you need to re buffer and waste time and bandwidth.
An alternative is the new HTML5 that Youtube is testing. You can check it out here at http://www.youtube.com/html5. Its only available on certain browsers, they are – Firefox version 4+, Google Chrome, Opera version 10.6, Apple Safari version 4+ and Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9+.
There are some additional restrictions but the only one that will affect most people is the full screen only partially supported. Try it out and let us know what you think.
