How to cook Sarawak Laksa? Sarawak Laksa unlike Penang Laksa, which it use ‘mihun’ instead of larger sized noodle. On top of that, the condiment another main thing that make both of them taste completely different.

Sarawak Laksa is too known as Kuching Laksa, it’s not common in West Malaysia, so today I would like to share with my blogging friends on how to prepare Sarawak Laksa.

Firstly of course these are the main ingredients you must have. They are mihun, shallots, curry powder, garlics, sesame seeds, peanut, prawn / chicken and lime / chilli and milk.

How to cook Sarawak Laksa

The below size of serving is only for one person.

  1. Prepare 3 cups of water together with the chicken / prawn in the pot.

  2. Put Sarawak Laksa sambal then stew them over low heat for 20 minutes.

  3. While waiting, cook the noodle and egg. Set aside.

  4. pour in the milk of 4 to 5 cups, mix the noodle and egg together.

  5. Lastly add your add-on, either chilli or lime. Done!

This yummy laksa cost you around 4-6 buck in Sarawak. It can easily found in the city of Kuching, but to get to taste the best Laksa Sarawak, you must get them before noon because it will sold out after noon.
