National health concern : Jerebu (haze) in Kuala Lumpur 2012

Since 15 of June 2012, KL with the surrounding states like N. Sembilan and Selangor were hazed. The cause was the drought in East Sumatra happening during this moment.

At 5 pm, Kuala Lumpur has recorded unhealthy API readings at a rate of 105.

Screenshot of NOAA shows that there are several critical burning spot in Sumatera Timur. The wind from the west caused Kuala Lumpur to be hit by the haze.

As usual, the government of Malaysia are ready to assist if Indonesia government need our help to work on this problem together.

The public were advised not to carry on too much of outdoor activities during this period.

Jerebu returned Kuala Lumpur in the middle of June 2012. How is Selangor then? We heard the situation was not very positive too..
