1 Care to be made mandatory, says the Health Ministry.

KUALA LUMPUR – The Health Ministry said nowadays that the 1 Care national healthcare proposal will be created mandatory for all Malaysians, in an admission that is possible to fuel further controversy.

Despite insisting within the past week that the proposal was still at an early stage, Health Ministry deputy director for the National Health Financing unit Dr Rozita Halina Hussein said today that one Care would need to be made obligatory.

She conjointly denied rumours that the ministry had finalised a call to force Malaysians to contribute ten per cent of their salaries to finance the scheme.
