Blogger custom Facebook Likebox

The most thing I dislike about the Facebook likebox is the border, because sometime it really doesn’t seem want to suite the blog design. Today I’m going to introduce a custom yet stunning Facebook Likebox, which previously was a plugin in wordpress.

The background doesn’t mean must to be blue, you can customize the color to suite your blog background. The avatar behind are those faces of your fans who liked your page.

As usual in blogger,

1. dashboard > design > add a gadget > HTML/javascript.

2. Copy and paste the below code :

<center>
<iframe style=”height:250px; width:85%; ” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″href=”

URL PAGE

“src=”http://www.facebook.com/plugins/fan.php?id=

Page ID

&width=292&height=250&connections=25&stream=false&header=false&logobar=false&css=https://sites.google.com/site/unwanted86/javascript/fblike.css” ></iframe></center><center><iframe src=”http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=

Page URL

&send=false&layout=standard&width=292&show_faces=false&action=like&colorscheme=light&font&height=40″ scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″ style=”border:none; overflow:hidden; width:250px; height:40px;” allowtransparency=”true”></iframe></center>

Note that there are 3 missing filed mention above that require you to fill it up, which are the URL of your fan page and your Page ID. Of course you don’t include the red color guide text into the HTML widget.

Hope you like this tutorial, Blogger custom Facebook Likebox ~
